We worked with Alyssa to complete our truss and lumber order (as well as a few special order items) for a new build. She did a fantastic job, was very responsive, and we were very happy with the customer service. Any glitches were resolved to our satisfaction. We previously dealt with another large lumber company and our last experience was terrible causing us to try Tarpin. We are glad we did - I would highly recommend using them and working with Alyssa.

Been dealing with the team at Tarpin for 14+ years and they provide superior customer service. We've mostly dealt with Jordon Pratt and Shelli King over the years and they both go above and beyond always. Their roof trusses are designed AND built on location which most lumber yards cannot boast. During covid when most lumber yards were completely out of stock on engineered lumber and some basic sheet goods Tarpin did an excellent job managing stock and we were always able to get all building materials needed. Delivery drivers have all been around for a long time and are all very friendly and courteous of our jobsite. Great people throughout their office, can't say enough good things about Tarpin Lumber.
Extremely Poor Communication and Unprofessionalism I have been trying to contact Shelli at this lumber company for the past three months to get a quotation for lumber and roof materials. Despite multiple attempts to follow up, she has been extremely unresponsive. Each time I manage to reach her, she promises to provide the quotation but never delivers. Her lack of professionalism and disregard for customer needs are unacceptable. I highly recommend looking elsewhere for your lumber needs.

Shelli has provided a level of customer service that exceeds all expectations. Her intelligence, comprehension, kindness, and overall understanding helped make the process of buying lumber and hardware for our house framing, stress free. Not only so, Shelli truly cares for her customers. She goes above and beyond to provide a positive experience and to fully satisfy customer needs. To be honest, words cannot even begin to scratch the service of her customer service skills. I am grateful and very appreciative.
