Disapointing. They posted 12" metabo miter saw for $399 on line. I followed instruction and made a purchase that included delivery charge. Two days later they send me the refund saying that putolator does not deliver this size and weight to ottawa. Really!!!? Get your act together guys.
Very disappointed to be writing this review after I been a customer of IHL for so long. Store is nice, great prices but unfortunately the workers at the cash have very poor customer service and no sympathy or courtesy to honour a deal. The deal was for DuraDrive Freedom Cargo Jeans. They had a deal buy 2 pairs and get it for $29 each pair instead of $44 a pair. I go checkout the lady that told me about the deal was standing there as well with me, with what i believe was the manager checking me out at the cash. No where was it mentioned to me at checkout that the deal didn’t go through, and since I had a positive shopping experience with the lady that was helping me out I didn’t think to question the price when I paid or check receipt in store while I was there. I get home and the store is already closed by now, I check receipts and I saw that I didn’t get the discount. I just thought no worries just a mistake I’ll go today and get back the difference. I get to the store go double check the label, same deal was still going on. I go to cash and the manager was there from before, she just straight up looks at me plain face no sympathy and says sorry that’s because you didn’t choose the same colour, that’s why the deal didn’t come up on our machine. I told her that’s ok though right because it’s the same exact work pants, colour doesn’t affect the price, could you just honour the deal and I go about my day. She just says no, “sorry we can’t you have to go back home get them and come back with them, choose the same colour then we can honour it”. I just tried reasoning explaining how inconvenient that is, and truly if that was part of the deal they should have label that requirement on the sale label or reminded me at checkout, because the colour didn’t matter to me, I’d be fine with the same colour if I just knew. Unfortunately they didn’t care and I saw that so I didn’t waste my breath arguing. On top of that, they had a hard hat I decided to buy because I saw the label and it stated that it was for $15 then I look at my receipt I got charged $41 including tax. So I brought that up, the lady that helped me shop around, then showed me the sign that was hidden facing away from hard hat pile no where located on stack and showing me that it is $41 original price, I explained that was hidden can they honour the price or help out. They once again shut me down said no nothing we can do. And on top of that when I go to return it, they are claiming it’s scratched and that it is not Eligible for return and I never even worn it, I just purchased cause it was a good deal I thought and I liked the design or other then that I really didn't need it. I’d make the trip to come back with jeans but when you live far it’s not worth the drive to safe $20 I just think this situation could have been handled better and with care. And to be honest I won’t be returning to Innisfil location they lost my business.
Dropped by for an impact but driver bit and not one, but three staffed stopped what they were doing to immideatly ask me for assistance. Top notch service and great selection of both tools and work wear!
I went in just needing some boots and walk out, simple. Never have I had such a helpful and knowledgeable customer experience service ever. Maggie was amazing in helping me find a pair of work boots. Overall, amazing store, amazing people, will be spending more money here. -David
Incredible resource to have at your disposal if you're in the Construction Industry. We visit IHL on almost a weekly basis; tool and consumable pricing cannot be beat-important when buying in large volumes. Very friendly and eager to help staff.
Ihl Innisfil is bad.. workers r rude and the workers change the price of items with tag on it and in the end after having a hard time with people there, everything is final price just in case u coming back ….. firts and last time coming here in Innisfil Go to hey 7 and Weston way better don’t waste your time coming to ihl Innisfil
Don't waste ur time if u are looking for the stuff they have in Vaughan! Limited supply. They don't even have Dixon lumber crayons or Tajima tape measure! Will never support this location!just ordered what I needed from Amazon because they didn't have it. Response to ur statement IHL!! I know that u have stuff that Amazon doesn't have! Doesn't take a genius to figure that out! To be specific, when I asked your staff if they have tajima tape measure, there Response was," no! But we have there chaulk line"! When I asked if they have Dixon lumber crayons, there Response was, " we don't have that either"! Such small items and you don't have them in stock!
