Solid 4 stars. Having been a crew leader of a lawn maintenance crew for many years and dealt with all sorts of machinery breakdown issues, I can safely say that these guys are good. Not great, but solid good. Service is solid but not extraordinary. Prices are fair and considering that there are not a ton of options for small engine repair in Innisfil, I recommend. Keep up the good work! JB

I needed the drive cable replaced on my self propelled lawn mower. I provided the cable, which they did replace. After two weeks of waiting, I called only to find out they had replaced the cable two days before I had called and noted in work order “went to test mower and does not run. Need approval for further diagnosis”. Not only did they not call me for “further diagnosis”, but my lawn mower ran before I dropped it off with them. I drove there and paid the $100 for my lawn mower and took it home, not wanting them to work on it anymore. I got home and attempted to start the mower, and found that the fuel line was shut off. I turned on the fuel line and it runs. While I am glad they replaced the cable, the technician is either too inexperienced to check the basics when trying to start a lawn mower, or was deliberately not checking to charge me more money for “further diagnosis”. I will not be back.
Had a Brand new MS 271 bought from this location and 2 years extended warranty. started it and ran it for 5 minutes idling beside me. Didn’t cut a single thing. It started smoking and i turned it off. brough it to Alcon’s Rentals after weeks of review they had told me it user error. This is not my first Stihl saw. I also use them at work so it’s not my first time. They would not warranty it. One of the employees i talk to told me that it was wrong that they didn’t warranty it. he said that tech had a bad reputation. When i confronted the store manager she said that employee didn’t work there anymore. They had started it before i picked up and they added fuel. So i asked how much would it be to fix it. they shows me a bill with parts and labour. the same price as the new saw. I have never experienced such a dishonest small shop.
I've been coming here for years and bought tonnes of parts and equipment, gotten countless repairs done, and rented almost weekly from these guys and it is always a 10/10 experience. Everyone here is great especially Zach who I deal with all the time.
Alcona Rent All is fantastic, I rented equipment with no hassle and recently bought my riding lawnmower to get fixed. Professional, knowledgeable and friendly.
Brought in a lawn tractor for annual service- clean up and advised three weeks wait time- no issue. Three weeks later I called and am advised " there's just two in front of yours". Ok. Call back two weeks later- and am first told they are just waiting for a part- a lightbulb. I need to put the machine into a backyard shed and can't close the gate once the snow comes so I say- I don't cut my lawn at night- I'm ok to get the bulb later if that's all I need. Guy says to call Monday as he's not a tech and just to be sure it's ready to call before I show up . Call Monday- find it's not my machine they have been talking about and get advised " there's just two in front of me". So enough smoke blown, I speak to the manager and get some kind of we are prioritizing snowblowers right now. I'm not ignorant to the fact that there is snow to blow and no grass to cut but since I was told three weeks, been told twice there is just two in front of you, I decide to call the owner to ask how he can be making any money when there must be nothing moving through his shop- been told twice over two weeks they just have two in front of me. Call and ask to speak to the owner- Kevin- and am still waiting a week later to have a call back. Would have appreciated a straight answer from the beginning so I could have just put my machine away and dealt with it in the spring. Kevin- if you do read this- I still would like to speak with you- honestly not the experience I would expect from Home Hardware!
