We had gotten Maple syrup and honey from this cute little shed last year on a whim when we ended up here following Google Maps suggestion, and now we went back there this year as well. We're taking some as gifts this year too. Easy mode of payment as they accept interac. They have a lot of firewood, Maple sugar and various size options for Maple syrup.
The best firewood we've picked up in years! The owners and staff were super friendly and helpful. The mix of wood types and the next it was ultra dry made for the best campfire of the season no question! Worth the brief detour on the way up to Algonquin. Other nice extras available made on site are available in the roadside hut too - like mailed syrup and honey! Bring cash!!! The Google map directions are actuate from the 400.
