Just a quick shout-out to Scott, Natasha and the entire crew @ Sandy Cove Marina. Been going for parts, accessories since moving to Simcoe County... Scott has been by FAR the most knowledgeable guy to talk shop/ boats with. Recently had the misfortune of finding shallow rocks and spun a bearing, did a number on the prop too- was a great day lol :( Scott sourced the right bearing, pitch and got them to me QUICK! Boat was back in her slip WITHIN 48 hours! Don't order anything marine related or hand your keys to any marina without 1st chatting with Scott and his Sandy Cove team.
Had my boat serviced here. Never ran right since and while it was there, left the cover off it and many Seagulls relived themselves all over the interior. Very unprofessional!
Rude shop! If you can’t work on something you politely say “ I’m sorry I’m afraid I can’t fix it” But the way you declined cannot be anymore rude. I’ll make sure none of my boater friends take their toys to your shop.
I ordered a gasket set and crankshaft bearings the lady over the phone quoted me 750$ a week later I drove there to pickup the parts and the guy said it was 880$. I told him what the lady quoted me over the phone and he said she was looking in the wrong catalogue and he refused to honor the price they quoted me over the phone. I was really upset as I had been waiting on those parts and I drove 45 mins to get there. In the end I paid full price exchanged some unkind words and went on my way. These people clearly do not own up to their mistakes and have no sympathy for their clients. This was my experience I hope they change their ways or that this bad experience was exclusive to me.
